Bad To Be Organized

15/165

My gear corner. All neat and tidy. Sleeping bags, tent, skies, fuel bottles, maps, backpacks, ice axe, bivy sack, shovel, crampons, stoves and on and on.  It's all there (zoomed in version). Everything I could need. Organized.

Too Organized.

My gear corner this neat and tidy only means one thing. Its had been too long. It is being neglected. I like my hiking gear draped over my stair railing to dry. Some of it still in my truck, a few things still in my pack. I like needing to dig through my gallon ziplock to find my tooth brush, needing to paw through my stove bag to find a lighter, and rummage through Espresso's pack for his leash.

They are my tools for escape.
