Yep, this is the best thing about Friday's. My alarm is set to off. Not because I want to sleep in, just because it's a heck of a lot nicer to get out of bed on your own accord. Some Friday nights, I'll actually leave it on, just so I can feel victorious over my alarm clock come Saturday morning. "SHUT UP! No I'm not getting up, you can't make me!"
One week of photos down, 51 weeks—358 photos—to go.
Please comment on the blog once in awhile if you're reading. It's a lot easier to do this everyday, all year, if I know people are checking it out. Somedays finding a picture feels a little forced, and other days it's easy. The process is helping me get to know my camera better and to examine my own world a bit more too. I am enjoying it. Bur like life, somedays will be better than others.
Note: These are my self imposed rules: I am trying to post a photo taken the previous day, everyday. So today, the 8th, has a photo taken on the 7th. No cheating. I won't post a photo taken any other day, although it has been tempting. If I am gone hiking, or am otherwise away from computer and internet, there may be a lapse, but I will always get caught up. There will eventually be a photo from everyday of the year. The writing will alway be secondary and it may at times have nothing to do with the photo.
Amanda and I both check your blog nearly every day. Love the pics. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHey Keith,
ReplyDeleteI've been following along! I just bought my wife a Canon T2i 18-135mm camera a few months ago. In the camera world... it's not the cat's meow, but does the trick. She has the "eye" more than I, but is still very much a newbie with all the settings and such. She just recently took a decent picture of the moon while in the 2nd quarter... came out pretty decent considering she did not use a tripod.
Enjoying the photos a day. Keep it up!
